Walk and Bike to School Month is almost here! Governor Chris Christie has proclaimed May as New Jersey Walk and Bike to School Month; a time when students, parents, school and municipal staff, and community members from all over New Jersey will be walking and biking to school together!
Has your school or community planned an event? We would love to hear from you on how your community is celebrating NJ Walk and Bike to School Month this May. Register your community’s events here, so we can promote them and feature them in our monthly newsletter! This May is also a wonderful time to recognize the crossing guards that keep us safe as we travel to and from school each day. Learn more about how you can celebrate these local champions here!
If you don’t have an event scheduled, don’t worry – there is still time to contact your local TMA SRTS Coordinator and work with them to schedule an event during New Jersey Walk and Bike to School Month.
