If you live or work in Middlesex County, Keep Middlesex Moving TMA is your Transportation Management Association (TMA). Keep Middlesex Moving (KMM) works with businesses, commuters, elected officials, community groups, schools, and other partners to implement a variety of programs that reduce congestion, increase safety, and improve air quality throughout Middlesex County. KMM offers a comprehensive Safe Routes to School outreach and education program, delivering walking and bicycling safety education programs to elementary and middle school students and organizing a wide range of events and contests that encourage responsible walking and bicycling. In addition, KMM works with schools and towns to create plans and policies to improve the walking and bicycling environment. Like all eight other TMAs, KMM’s Safe Routes to School programs and services are free.

This year KMM is asking residents to ride during the month of May while supporting a great cause.  Through this event, KMM is asking people throughout their service area to pledge to ride their bike at least once during the month of May. For every pledge received, KMM will donate $1 to Replenish – Middlesex County Food Bank. REPLENISH, formerly the Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (MCFOODS) was created in 1994 to help achieve food security and provide access to nutritionally adequate food and other basic necessities to all residents in Middlesex County. This May it doesn’t matter where you are riding, just pledge to keep riding and help support this great organization by taking the “You Bike. We Give!” pledge.
